Members Are Invited To Join A Limited Space Tour Of The Sea Ray Boat Manufacturing Facility in Vonor, TN On August 10, 2020

Sea Ray designs, manufactures and markets boats ranging from 17-foot (5.2 m) power cruisers to over 65-foot (20 m) yachts, including the Sundancer brand and, starting in 2014, the "L" Series luxury yachts. Sea Ray is based in Knoxville, Tennessee and it operates two factories in Tennessee and two in Florida. Sea Ray designs and markets more than 40 models ranging in boats from 18 to 65 feet (5.5 to 19.8 m).

Sea Ray was the first boat manufacturer to use fiberglass in its pleasure boat construction, and it also pioneered the molded-in swim platform when it launched Ski Ray ski boats in 1991.

Registered Members taking the Tour will meet at:

• The Chota Center parking lot to carpool at 9:30 AM
• Leaving the parking lot at: 9:35 AM
• The tour takes about 1-1/2 hours - Please be aware there will be an odor in the air due to the manufacturing materials used
• Alicia Harris will be your guide for the tour

• The plant is located at 100 Sea Ray Circle., Vonore TN. To drive there take Tellico Parkway to Rt. 72 (Food Lion end). Turn left onto Rt. 72 and proceed to the first traffic light to the industrial park. Turn left into the park and proceed straight until you see the Sea Ray plant entrance.

  The security gate guard will direct you to the parking area which is directly in front of the Visitor's Entrance.
