Do you love to wear jewelry and always wanted to learn how to make jewelry? This is the class for you. In this class you will learn the basics of jewelry making: - Use of jewelry pliers - Wire type and gauges - How to connect beads - How to make a wrapped loops - How to make jump rings - How to make coils - How to make spirals - How to make findings like hooks, eyes, rings, bails, etc.
Tools are provided, but if you have your own (jewelry pliers, etc.) that you are comfortable using, you are encouraged to bring them. Simple beads are provided for learning purposes but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. At the end of the class you will have a set to wear: pendant, bracelet and earrings. The wire provided is copper or jewelry wire. The class is two hours and when we are having too much fun, it often goes over. This is a two-hour class. This introductory class serves as a pre-requisite to advance classes.
