This will be a great introduction to the larger trail system which is located on the east shore of Tellico Lake, and is designated a National Recreation Trail by the Dept. of the Interior. The entire trail system is 31 miles with 10 branches accessible from 10 trail heads with parking. There are no restrooms at this trail head.

Directions: From Chota Rd. turn left onto 444, turn left onto 321 north toward Maryville, turn right onto Hwy
95, turn right onto Glendale Community Rd. The Glendale trail head parking lot is at the end of the road, 1.5
miles from Hwy 95.

Be Prepared: Bring water and a trail snack. Dress in layers. Hiking boots and poles are recommended. While we do our best to describe any trail challenges and conditions, you are hiking at your own risk. No pets are allowed on the hike. We suggest you bring an extra pair of shoes and place hiking boots, if dirty, in a trash bag to try to keep your driver's car floor clean.

In the event of a situation requiring medical attention during a hike, please wear your Name Tag and bring a Photo ID and Medical Information/Insurance cards.
