The Thursday March 2nd meeting will introduce Knox County Extension Agent Lee Rumble. Topics to be discussed:

• Why we love trees
• The benefit of urban landscapes
• Considerations before planting
• The best time of the year to plant
• How to select the best plants from your garden center
• Lee Rumble will especially focus on proper planting practices and proper maintenance during the early years.

Lee is student of nature around us as well as being active hiking, biking and studying our Eastern TN mountains.
