Experience Synopsis: Confederate LT Gen James Longstreet crossed the Tennessee River at Huff’s Ferry on Nov 14th intent on defeating Union Maj Gen Ambrose Burnside in battle, taking Knoxville, embarrassing Lincoln, and impacting Grant in Chattanooga. We will visit the crossing area and many of the other sites around Lenoir Station, Campbell Station and Knoxville where the two sides fought and examine the leadership of both men, as well as their subordinates, in the crucible of combat. You will also take part in several battlefield “experiences” designed to make the tour come alive!

Cost: $200 per person
