COMMUNITY OUTREACH:

We are proud to sponsor the Microsoft certified Technology Access Program (TAP).   TAP is a Registered Microsoft Refurbisher and provides refurbished donated computers loaded with Windows Operating Systems for distribution through non-profit organizations.

Club volunteers evaluate the donated equipment and either refurbish or properly dispose of the components.   The refurbished components are cleaned, hard drives securely reformatted, operating system and software are loaded and tested.  The entire System (computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer and speakers) is made available to a school or Family Assistance Organization to place in a home where no computer currently exists.

All expenses incurred by TAP are directly related to the preparation of the computer systems.

You can volunteer to assist in refurbishing upon joining the Club.

Individuals and organizations can donate equipment such as computers, printers, cartridges, etc. to TAP and may qualify for tax benefits.  A cash donation to help with TAP operating expenses would  be greatly appreciated.
